Astronaut Party had racked up an impressive roster of early-stage eCommerce brands and wanted to help them reach high-intent audiences with their Meta ads. Take the agency’s brand partner, Simon Pearce. While the artisanal glassware brand had cultivated a loyal following in the American Northeast, its marketing team wanted to expand its reach across new regions. Although Lukas was wary of asking his client to pay more for a new tool, a free trial immediately alleviated his concerns. In a sequence of A/B tests that ran Simon Pearce’s existing audience targeting strategy against Proxima’s AI Audiences, the latter handily won out. Simon Pearce didn’t need any further convincing.
After a comprehensive ad account audit and customer base analysis, the Proxima team leveraged its vast Shopper Universe — of over 70 million shoppers and $17B in purchases across thousands of eCommerce stores — to generate data-enriched audiences for Simon Pearce to target on Meta
In building these audiences, Proxima zeroed in on the core shopping trends that define Simon Pearce’s most loyal customers: where they shop, which products they buy, how much they spend, and much more. Within minutes, the Proxima team had Simon Pearce’s custom audiences uploaded to Ads Manager via Meta’s API — laying the foundation for the brand to efficiently scale its advertising efforts.

Proxima’s A/B tests have also helped Lukas and his team uncover key insights that reshaped their approach to existing campaigns. For example, the Proxima team identified that Simon Pearce’s repeat customer rate was exceptionally strong — indicating that once new shoppers were exposed to the brand, they would bring in immense LTV.
